Sawyerisms...

Everyone's favorite pick-me-up!

So last night I watched Confidence Man (season one), and caught a hilarious line by Sawyer. Jack comes up searching for Shannon's asthma medication in Sawyer's tent, causing Sawyer to get pretty angry...

Sawyer: "What are you doing?"
Jack: "Where is the medicine" (or something to that nature)
Sawyer: "I don't know what kind of Commi (sp?) sharefest you're running over there in cave town..."

The quote goes on. But really, thats flippin hilarious. So I go to thinking, "What are some more Sawyerisms that I love and adore?"

1. "Caught in a net, huh? So that's what they're calling it these days."
2. Ben was given the nicknames "the artist formerly known as Henry Gale", and "Captain Bunny Killer".
3. Jack was "St. Jack", "Amarillo Slim", and (my favorite) "Dr.Quinn" (heehee!)
4.Hurley was "Jabba", "Deepdish", "International House of Pancakes", and "Muttonchops"
5.Kate was "The Mighty Huntress", "Sassafrass" and of course "Freckles"
And Lastly
6. Jin and Sun were "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon".

Of course there are far more quotes and nicknames than that, but those are some of my favorites. I wish I could remember more quotes, but hey. I only know so much.
These made my day. Hopefully they will make yall happy too!

I'm so spoiler free....

Ok. Well, I didn't really have a catchy "spoiler free" saying to write, but i figured that nothing could truly open up a blog entry like a refrence to Lost Unlocked.

I guess I'll leave that to Chris and Bryan.

Anyways, I definately got some amazing things for my birthday (like a crazy time at Six Flags with my friends), but I am most excited about finally owning Lost Season One. I mean, Its the first, Its number one! Why wouldnt I want that (especially seeing that I haven't seen many of the first episodes). Yes, It's pretty nice.

Actually, Its a silver bundle of happiness...but I figure the word "nice" could encompass that.

Just a sidenote, I have become this major nerd over Lost. I mean, not hardcore, "Oh man, I know everything to know" nerd, just a nerd...In a good way. I seem to do this, I find something I enjoy and then BAM! I get so caught up in it that until I feel the need to move on to something else, that thing is really important to me.

I think Mr. Webster would call that "passion".

Then again, I never was one for vocabulary.

Reasons Why This Week Rocked....

and I mean OUT LOUD!

1. The new Lost Unlocked Podcast came out (featuring a character spotlight on Desmond!)
2. I saw Relient K (well, the lead singer and guitarist from Relient K) live and acoustic.
3. My birthday is tommorrow.
4. My friends and I are going to party tomorrow! (woot woot)
5. I actually began my summer reading without falling asleep.
6. I saw Hot Rod (which, although on a much lower intelligence level than Lost, was hilarious).
7. I gained trust
AND FINALLY:
8. I hit the realization that not only is this chapter of my life begining to end, a new and exciting one is just starting,.

Wow. Everything is finally coming together.

The Only Thing Worst Than Not Knowing...

Is you thinking that I don't know.

Funny how things said in private somehow end up in the evergrowing fog of gossip and insanity known as life.

Only Fall Out Boy could truly put this thought into words...

On the upside, NEW PODCAST! WOOT WOOT! Yes yes yes, I am downloading it at this very moment! Definately going to be the upside to my day. There's just too much going on right now, but maybe a high quality Lost related podcast will cheer me up.

Oh yea, by the way, RELIENT K IS COMING TO A CITY NEAR ME! And If all works out, tommorrow night My close friends and I will be traveling down I20 in hopes of seeing an amazing show (Hello?! Relient K is so fun! Of course it'll be amazing...) All I really have to do is sit here and wait patiently (yeah, right) for everything to come together!

Wow, I went from honestly upset to completely stoked in less than two paragraphs....
Blogging-good for the soul!

Sincere Thoughts without Sarcasm (Be Amazed)

I can't decide whether I am extremely excited or extremely scared about starting school in less than two weeks...

Yes, I'm a senior. Its my last year of certain teachers I can't stand, certain people that I would rather shoot myself than deal with, and certain stresses that I could easily do without.

But, In the same way, all of those things have led to here:To all my senior friends, guys, we're going to college. In less than a year, all the people I have spent most of my life with will disapear forever into the darkness of the future as I go lonely wandering into the face of my darkest fear. All the pressures, the essays, the tests, the classes, and all of the life experiences we have earned are finally going to be tested, and our will to become individuals will become our most prominent trait while facing this big step. As much as I despise some aspects of my tiny hometown, I know that wherever and whenever I leave it, I am leaving the majority of my being...all of the dances, fights, band practices, bad haircuts, first days of school, summer reading with friends, and everything else that once seemed miniscule but now stands out in my thoughts.

I'm really preparing to leave. And not to Kilgore College or somewhere close by...

Is this really happening?

Its ALIVE...Its HUGE!!!!!!!!!

ah...the sweet melody of a massive jj abrams project coming to life.

Am I the only one who is ready for January 18????? I keep going to 1-18-08.com to look at the pictures and see what kind of anything that I can scrape up out of them. I did the ethan haas was right thing (even though ethan haas was not right in the end), and have pestered my friends for a good month over the theories I have concerning that one shaky camcorder video that I saw the day that Transformers came out.

I guess its my way of thinking: If I like something (lets say, a tv show called LOST for instance), I like to understand fully the concepts and theories surrounding said something. Just like I scavenged up information on Lost when I joined the show's fan base during season three, I just can't seem to get enough of the cloverfield thing.

An Update on My Life...

Not that anyone truly cares.

Yes. The joys of blogging when only two or three people even see the posts....Ha.

Anyways, I am happy to pronounce that I am off for the next three days (after this evening). That means no popcorn, no polyester shirt, and most importantly, NO LARGE MR.PIBBS!
Ah, Freedom. Sweet, Sweet, (temporary) Freedom. It smells so...so....

I don't know. So unlike a large Mr.Pibb? Sure, Lets go with that.

All I really have to do is suffer through morning band rehearsals (the heat index for this week is only at 110 degrees....oh joy), Make it through today at work, and begin the summer reading novels that I was supposed to have read two months ago.
To sum it all up...Life's pretty good right now.

Immaturity is Killing Me...

Slowly. Very slowly.

It amazes me how stupid and ignorant some people can be. I mean, I may not be a supermodel, but if people weren't completely brainwashed by the insane standards that we are supposed to live up to, maybe I'd have more of a chance.

Now, don't take this the wrong way, this isn't a pity party or anything; I just don't know how to survive another year in this hicktown. I'm ready to graduate, to go off to college, to meet people who DON'T wear Wranglers or Cowboy Hats and who accept differences in the people they meet.

I know that immaturity is everywhere, that some people (*cough cough*) never outgrow their young ways, but I don't want to be a victim of it any longer.

NOTICE: To all of you out there who may possibly read this-If you haven't done it already, GROW UP! For my sake...for the world's sake....for your sake.

What do you get when you mix Poleyester and Soda?

You get a big sticky mess my friend.

Yes, working at a movie theatre yeilds some pretty helpful tidbits of information for my gaining throughout the years. The newest piece: Don't let a customer spill their ENTIRE LARGE SODA over the counter towards you in the middle of a rush with angry people standing in line...It's not good at all. As the soda cascaded onto the counter, under my computer, and into my cash register, I was left sticky, smelly, and desperately in need of a towel (or 20).

What's really funny, though, is that i didn't cause the mess. Being as clumbsy as I truly am, I went the whole night without tripping, slipping, falling, or breaking some limb and i STILL end up a sticky mess.

Irony? I'd say so.

Well, as I sit here this morning with a hint of Mr.Pibb still lingering on my skin, I wait in earnest desperation for the new Lost Unlocked Podcast to come out....on August 19. That is a very long wait, but i guess it will be worth it. This week's character spotlight is my favorite (DESMOND)! Can i get an "ooooh yeeeaaahhh!".

Welcome to the Blogosphere

...

Is it sad that i didn't know this place existed until now....Hmmm. Curious.Well, I guess this could be considered my 'coming out' into the blogging community, though i did write on my xanga before everyone went over to facebook and myspace (note the sarcasm).

Anyways, If anyone actually sees this (unlikely) it would be a miracle, so until then I will leave it at that.
