You get a big sticky mess my friend.
Yes, working at a movie theatre yeilds some pretty helpful tidbits of information for my gaining throughout the years. The newest piece: Don't let a customer spill their ENTIRE LARGE SODA over the counter towards you in the middle of a rush with angry people standing in line...It's not good at all. As the soda cascaded onto the counter, under my computer, and into my cash register, I was left sticky, smelly, and desperately in need of a towel (or 20).
What's really funny, though, is that i didn't cause the mess. Being as clumbsy as I truly am, I went the whole night without tripping, slipping, falling, or breaking some limb and i STILL end up a sticky mess.
Irony? I'd say so.
Well, as I sit here this morning with a hint of Mr.Pibb still lingering on my skin, I wait in earnest desperation for the new Lost Unlocked Podcast to come out....on August 19. That is a very long wait, but i guess it will be worth it. This week's character spotlight is my favorite (DESMOND)! Can i get an "ooooh yeeeaaahhh!".

No way...no freakin' way...
I worked in a movie theater for a year, but quit in late June to get ready for my first year of college. I was an usher, though. It didn't suck entirely; I didn't mind cleaning theaters, but standing at a podium for four hours wasn't that great. At least I learned to occupy myself.
Ya know what's worse than polyester and soda? Vomit on the carpet and the chairs in a theater. I've had to clean it up a couple times, which was disgusting, but it wasn't awful because the stuff we poured on it smelled like orange Froot Loops.
Large Mr. Pibb huh? I like Mr. Pibb, I find it to have quite a pleasant taste... At least someone didn't spill an EXTRA LARGE Fresca on you. That would truly be awful.
Sorry again for the podcast delay. I just hope we can make the show worth the extra wait.
