What a response I've gotten today.
I must admit, I love me some awards shows. As a matter of fact, my friend Lindsay (who I hope to podcast with) and I have Emmy/Oscar parties. Well, kind of. By "parties" I mean we text message all of our thoughts to each other as we watch the shows in the comfort of our own homes. But still, we party it up on Award show nights.
Frankly, we are the only ones.
Apparantly, nobody else in Hallsville watched the Emmys. At All. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Zip-A-Dee-Do-Da-Day....okay. that last one was slightly unnecessary but I thought it was funny. Everytime I would ask somebody about a funny moment or joke or commercial, they all gave me the same answer: "The what were on when? Hm, didn't know that..."
But it's okay. No matter who actually saw them, Everybody I know has already heard the good news, via my blabbering....TERRY O QUINN WON BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR IN A DRAMA SERIES!
Now that's the kind of information that gets you pumped about "Locketober" (ha. Lost Unlocked reference)

This year I only caught bits and pieces of the Emmy's... I thought Seacrest did a descent job hosting; it wasn't great but it wasn't awful either.
I was so excited the Terry O'Quinn FINALLY WON! If he didn't walk away with an Emmy after this season's brilliant performance, I don't know what I would have done!
Now next year we need to work on winning Best Drama again...
